Small parent cooperative half-day preschool hiring teacher for 2024-25 school year.

We are a small play-based, family oriented half day preschool that focuses on social emotional learning.
Our days are filled with joyful investigation, messy art projects and friendship building.
Our learning spaces are not limited to the classroom.
We take walks in the woods, run on our large playground, and make mud pies in our front yard.
Teachers work closely with parents to create a loving and nurturing first school experience for young children.
We are looking for teachers who believe that children learn best through play, and are imaginative and capable learners.
We want committed educators who embrace the whole child and welcome the opportunity to work closely with their families.
Duties include: Designing inspirational spaces indoors and outdoors that invite children to explore and create.
Using daily collaboration with other teachers to build a sense of community for our children and their families.
Interacting with young children in a way that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, problem solving, independence and kindness.
Having knowledge of the developmental needs of all stages of early childhood, while honoring each child’s individual growth.
Understanding that joy and wonder should be a part of every child’s school day.
Our work week is 27.
5 hours.
This includes 26 hours onsite and 1.
5 hours planning time.
Our school year runs from late August to early June, with the option to work our summer camp.
We offer competitive paid time off and holiday pay.
Starting pay range is $18-20 per hour.
