The snuggle is real! A tight-knit family of 4 in Raleigh is searching for a calm and patient nanny to primarily care for their 3-month-old baby boy starting ASAP, with the flexibility to begin in early March.
They also have a 6-year-old Lego-loving boy who attends Kindergarten and will primarily be with grandparents or at activities.
They may ask that the nanny pick him up from school on occasion when his grandparents aren’t able to, but this will be less common.
He typically spends his Summer days with his grandparents or in Summer camps.
Their ideal nanny is someone nurturing, warm, easy-going, and communicative who is well-versed in infant care and developmental milestones.
The day will consist of all things baby-related and light housekeeping such as children’s laundry.
They also would love an active nanny who enjoys being outdoors, taking the baby for walks, and is comfortable supervising and wouldn’t mind taking a dip, after school, in their pool with the oldest son when the weather warms up.
Both parents work from home the majority of the time in separate office spaces.
The schedule for this position will be Monday-Friday between the hours of 8 am - 5 pm (most days ending earlier), typically 40 hours a week.
Reliability and punctuality are very important to them.
The family does have some flexibility with the start date as mom is coming back from maternity leave and only working part-time half days from home in February (ideally they would offer 20-30 hours for the first week or two, then increase to full-time in March, but willing to be flexible based on the nanny’s needs).
They are searching for a nanny who would love to be a part of their family and stay with them for the long term, at least until their youngest is in preschool.
They do have an older dog that sleeps mostly and a cat, so please be comfortable with animals in the home.
