Infant Teacher

We are in need of strong , dedicated teacher to work with our youngest children, Infants.
This is a full time permanent position.
Prior experience in a licensed facility is required.
College level coursework in early childhood is desired.
Duties: - Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow - Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning - Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes diversity and cultural understanding - Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide regular feedback to parents - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate classroom activities - Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones Qualifications: -Nc Early Childhood Credential or willingness to get it required - Associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred - Previous experience in a licensed childcare facility required - Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to effectively manage a classroom and promote positive behavior management techniques - Understanding of special education needs and strategies for supporting children with diverse abilities - CPR and First Aid certification preferred Skills: - Early childhood education: Knowledge of age-appropriate teaching methods and curriculum for children birth to 1 year old - Child welfare: Understanding of child protection policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all children - Experience with children: Ability to connect with young children, build rapport, and create a nurturing learning environment - Childhood development: Knowledge of developmental milestones and stages of childhood development If you are passionate about early childhood education and have the qualifications and skills listed above, we would love to hear from you.
