*Responsibilities:*
* Supervise and engage with children ages 5-12 years old in a safe and nurturing environment.
* Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
* Ensure the well-being of campers by attending to their individual needs and maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
* Collaborate with fellow counselors and staff members to coordinate daily schedules and special events.
* Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding camper progress, activities, and any concerns.
*Qualifications:*
* Previous experience working with children in a daycare, camp, or similar setting preferred.
* Must be at least 18 years old.
* Enthusiastic, patient, and compassionate with a genuine interest in the well-being and development of children.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* CPR and First Aid certification.
* Criminal background check.
