If you are a confident yet collaborative nanny who loves being on the go, look no further! This Durham family’s beloved long-term nanny will soon be moving out of state and they can’t wait to build a lasting relationship with a new nanny who will be adored and appreciated by the whole family.
The family has three children ages 6, 4, and 2, two busy working parents, and an adorable dog.
They are seeking an experienced nanny who can balance daily activities with their two-year-old in addition to after-school pickup, homework, and activities with the older two children.
The nanny will spend their days taking the family’s 2-year-old on outings to museums, playdates, parks, and classes in addition to speech therapy.
They are looking for a nanny who is both active and engaging to help promote developmentally appropriate learning.
In the afternoon he will nap and the family would appreciate the nanny’s help with light household duties such as cleaning up after lunch, tidying up toys and kid areas, and other light household duties.
Mom travels quite a bit for work, so a proactive nanny who has a positive attitude and willingness to help keep on top of things like errands (picking up grocery orders) and scheduled events on the calendar would be icing on the cake! The older two are picked up later and would love to go to a nearby park or museum to burn off energy.
The children work best with firm yet kind discipline, and since they are all in different stages, they hope to find a nanny who is confident with coaching and disciplining all three children where they are.
Both parents work from home yet believe in giving their nanny autonomy and do not micro-manage, they will be supportive and answer questions, but also value you as a professional! They also have a swimming pool and travel often in the summer to the lake or beach and would ask their nanny to be comfortable in the water.
If the nanny is interested, they would welcome them to come along on trips to the beach and/or lake.
