Lead Teacher
Duties:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities for children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise and engage children in educational and recreational activities
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Assess the developmental needs of each child and provide individualized support
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and safety guidelines
- Attend staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities
-Plan and implement engaging outdoor learning experiences.
-Open and/or Close classroom daily as well as outdoor learning environment.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge and experience in early childhood education
- Ability to create and implement engaging lesson plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and understanding of child development
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-Gardening experience is a huge plus
