Description and Requirements
Summary:
We are looking for passionate and driven software developers who are willing to learn and want to make an impact in a fast-paced global technology environment.
Our Infrastructure Solutions Group is currently seeking a Firmware Developer to join a Firmware Development Team to create, validate and maintain BIOS/UEFI code used on Lenovo servers.
Job Description:
The Firmware Engineer will write, debug and test embedded Firmware.
Manage and maintain firmware build tools, manage builds, and release Firmware to test as well as recreate and fix problems reported by the test team.
Duties may include code development, unit testing, debugging, and customer support for technical issues.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Computer Engineering
1 year of experience in C/C++, Python and/or Bash.
1 year experience working with Linux/Windows Operating systems.
Previous Experience or knowledge of Network technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Computer Engineering
Experience or knowledge in Systems Management and/or embedded processors.
Knowledgeable of software development processes and Agile methodologies.
Ability to work in a team environment and passionate about learning new technologies and skills.
Ability to provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
