Under direct supervision, performs basic engineering tasks for remediation sites (reporting, data interpretation and evaluation, shop drawing reviews, engineering specifications, field work, etc.
) and engineering designs to meet client project requirements.
Performs work involving conventional and straightforward plans, investigations, surveys, structures, or equipment.
Performs groundwater, surface water, sediment, and subsurface soil sampling and testing.
Oversees environmental drilling and monitoring well installation.
Prepares remediation documents, including draft designs and reports for compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
Ensures that firm policies and practices are followed on all investigations and designs.
Performs site reviews and studies, as needed, to ensure studies and designs are aligned with client and location specifications.
Updates studies and design requirements as necessary.
Contributes to firm's technical knowledge management by developing white papers and technical design documentation of new or special case designs, studies, etc.
Performs other duties as required.
May create or work with a team to create a poster or other presentation material for a conference.
This role will be fieldwork heavy.
Applicants should be prepared to spend at least 50% of their time in the field Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
1 year of related experience.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Driver's License Requirements An appropriate and valid driver's license is required.
Preferred Qualifications Prior OSHA HAZWOPER and other safety trainings Candidate who has or is on track for EIT certification.
