Essential Functions
Installs and configures software solutions at customer sites (remotely), ensuring that projects are properly implemented per Clinisys' best practices.
Work with client IT departments and/or DBAs to configure servers and other software to meet specifications.
Interact with diagnostic testing facilities and vendors to understand integration needs and execute integration projects.
Design and develop interfaces to meet the requirements given constraints such as limited client resources, time deadlines, and technological impediments.
Work with sites to complete necessary specifications and ensure that projects stay within scope.
Analyze and understand urgent or critical problems, escalating to peers and/or management, as necessary.
Perform testing on implementations and other solutions developed.
Organizes and prioritizes project tasks to ensure timely completion of projects assigned.
Research relevant client issues and document all findings when implementing solutions.
Establish all technical project requirements and maintain effective professional relationships with all clients and organize all project materials.
Provide second and third-tier support, as needed, during pre-defined working hours.
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills needed to be successful Perl, Cache Mumps, XML, XSLT, Ensemble, SQL Familiarity with connectivity methods such as MLLP Sockets, FTP, and file sharing.
Ability to read and modify programming code.
Able to self-manage time, prioritize tasks, provide estimates of how much time is needed to complete own tasks, and deliver tasks on time.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills: the ability to analyze and interpret data quickly and efficiently to resolve issues and/or design solutions.
Ability to proficiently manage numerous priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Support of software implementation project plan, hours tracking, and project line closures per Clinisys instructions.
Analyze and document interface specifications and implementation details as per Clinisys documentation requirements.
Required Experience & Education Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related degree.
Experience will be considered instead of a degree.
2+ years’ related experience required.
2+ years' experience with relational databases and Transaction-SQL, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: Data Platform preferred.
Previous client support/service experience 1 + years experience with software programming HL7 interface familiarity preferred to program HL7 inbound and outbound interfaces using software tools and SQL.
Knowledge of Team Foundation Services or similar code source control software Knowledge of Windows and UNIX operating systems.
Experience in a healthcare-related industry Knowledge of Crystal Reports.
Supervisory Responsibilities None Physical Requirements Work is performed in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift to 10 pounds with assistance as part of office routine.
Moderate lifting/carrying 15-44 lbs.

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $67,200 to $89,600 for an annual base salary.
