Description of Work Looking to take the next step in your IT career? We currently have 2 openings (60015097, 60015098) for Applications Systems Analyst I.
The primary responsibility of the Applications Systems Analyst I is to provide functional applications and software support to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol Motor Carrier Enforcement Section (NCSHP MCES) and the DMV License and Theft Bureau.
Duties include, but are not limited, to: New development of software systems and support existing Enforcement systems Building positive relationships with business clients associated with the Enforcement Team Work with various IT group to achieve project and team goals Selected candidate must reside in North Carolina at the time of hire.

Qualified applicants must submit an application that CLEARLY REFLECTS work experience that demonstrates the following: Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and techniques such as: system analysis, system design, computer programming, testing, debugging, implementation, and documentation Demonstrated knowledge of specific computer environments and a broad range of programming languages with ability / experience to develop code in programming language such as C#, C++, and RESTful Web Services Demonstrated knowledge devising or modifying procedures to solve small to medium problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations Demonstrated experience independently managing project timelines, and work efforts for implementing solid solutions Demonstrated strong communication skills to interact with operations team members, security, clients, internal team members and external team members Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Some state job postings say you can qualify by an ‘equivalent combination of education and experience.
