Join our Menstrual Health and Vitamin D Research Study (Durham, NC) This five month research study is recruiting healthy people with periods (menstrual cycles) that might have low vitamin D levels.
The information we learn may help us understand how to improve menstrual cycles and improve fertility.
Who can participate? People ages 19-40 Have regular menstrual cycles that are less than 50 days apart Have an intact (whole) uterus and both ovaries Have no illnesses that affect fertility No current hormonal medication use (except thyroid hormones) Are no using hormonal birth control Are willing to complete activities and take vitamin D capsules Live in Research Triangle Park (RTP) North Carolina or surrounding area What is required? Three in person visits to the clinic site in RTP Daily Urine collection for two of the months Filling out daily and weekly online diaries What will you get? Participants will be compensated up to $1050 Who is running the study? A team, led by reproductive health scientist Dr.
