*About the Granite Delivery Truck Driver Position:*
As a Granite Delivery Truck Driver at AG Stones, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their valuable granite slabs safely, efficiently, and with expert care.
Your responsibilities will include:
* *Expertly operating* a company-provided flatbed truck to transport granite slabs of varying sizes and weights, prioritizing secure loading and safe transport across North Carolina.
* *Demonstrating extensive experience* in securing granite slabs using proper tie-down techniques and A-frame systems, ensuring their stability throughout the journey.
* *Following designated routes* while remaining flexible to adjust for deliveries across the state, from short hauls within North Carolina to extended trips reaching Virginia Beach or South Carolina.
* *Utilize GPS or navigation apps* to determine the best route
* *Communicating effectively* with customers to coordinate delivery times, provide updates, and ensure their complete satisfaction.
* *Assisting with unloading granite slabs* at customer locations, demonstrating teamwork and customer service skills.
* *Maintaining the cleanliness and basic upkeep of your assigned truck.

* *Possessing the ability to assist with forklift loading and maneuverability*, a valuable asset for efficient operations.
*Qualifications:*
* *Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL)* with a clean driving record.
* *Minimum of 3 years of experience* operating a commercial truck, *preferably with proven experience in delivering granite slabs or similar heavy materials.

* *Must be able to drive a manual transmission*
* *Must have current Medical Certification*
* *Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment DOT drug screen*
* *No disqualifying violations on the State Motor Vehicle Report*
* *No disqualifying events on the FMCSA Pre-Employment Screening Report*
* *Prefer forklift experience*
* *Must be 21 years of age or older*
* *Warehouse experience a must – preferably moving and loading slabs*
* *Must complete the entire Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver application*
* *Expert understanding and application of secure loading techniques*, including A-frame usage and proper tie-down procedures.
* *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* to interact with customers and colleagues professionally.
* *Physical ability to lift and move moderate weights* (up to 50 lbs) and maneuver on uneven terrain.
* *Ability to adapt to a dynamic schedule*, including both short and long-distance deliveries across diverse locations.
* *Reliable, punctual, and with a positive and proactive attitude.
