*Salary:* *$22.
00 per hour* (Experienced drivers eligible for higher compensation).
*Average Annual Salary: $65,000/year(+/-) *dependent upon hourly rate, days and hours worked.
*Responsibilities:*
* Safely operate a collection truck to collect materials on a designated route daily
* Perform safety checks (Pre/Post-trip inspections)
* Ensure compliance with company service, safety and maintenance procedures
* Operate hoisting devices that raise carts for collection
* Drive to disposal and/or recycling sites to unload trucks
* Operate software tablet for navigation and service confirmation
*Required Qualifications:*
* Class B CDL
* Clean driving record
* Current DOT medical card
* Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
* Demonstrate the ability to safely drive and operate company provided equipment
*Schedule and Work Location:*
* Monday to Friday (limited Saturdays as needed)
* Report time 4:45AM
* Overtime required (Estimated hours 50-55hrs per week)
* One location: Wake Forest, NC (27587)
*Physical Demands:*
* Sitting is a requirement to drive the truck
* Ability to dismount and remount truck to collect materials
* Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance etc as needed to perform job duties
* Ability to push/pull carts on wheels to mechanical lifting devices
* Ability to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds manually
* Ability to work in all weather conditions
