Part Time-Medical Courier

*Job Description* Courier Company is hiring safe drivers for Wake Co.
based Hospital provide safe and timely transportation of specimens and supplies to the assigned courier schedules.
Part time opportunities available now.
* Hiring Safe Drivers for Vans and cars * Good opportunity for Veterans, Retirees, Homemakers & College Students *2 schedules available 6:30am - 3:30pm or 8am - 5pm.
3 days one week and 2 days the next week.
* *JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Safely Operates Company owned vehicle on routes for delivery of customer product.
* Employee will report to work at assigned time * Pick up and deliver test samples, specimens, medical reports and supplies on a specified route following established sequence and time schedule.
* Work with dispatcher for additional pickups as needed.
* Employee will follow proper procedures in safe handling and transportation of specimens.
* Operate a handheld scanner for tracking of product.
* Employee will be a productive employee with a positive attitude and great customer service skills.
*JOB REQUIREMENTS:* * This job includes lifting, bending, carrying, kneeling, maneuvering, reaching and pushing/pulling requirements of a maximum of 70 pounds.
* Requires driving for a minimum of 3 hours per day and a potential of up to 8 hours per day.
* Excellent Customer Service Skills * Must be 21 years of age and possess a North Carolina Driver’s License minimum of 3 years with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR).
* Must pass 10 year Criminal Background Screening and Pass a Drug Screen.
* Must be subject to current vaccinations and immunization records.
