Brewery Bhavana is now hiring a Delivery Driver! Our company offers competitive wages, potential growth opportunities, and excellent benefits! The Delivery Driver is responsible for organizing and cleaning the warehouse to ensure the packaged products are delivered to our customer partners in the most efficient way.
The position will include delivering in-date products to customer partners and maintaining these products in the appropriate manner with high attention to detail in presentation, merchandising, shelving, and displays.
This role also includes assisting in different areas of the production brewery, when required.
To perform this role, the ideal candidate must have excellent attention to detail, cleanliness, organization, self-motivation, and view their responsibilities as an opportunity to best represent the Brewery Bhavana brand.
The Delivery Driver works closely with the sales team, production team, and brewery staff to ensure that products are kept clean, organized, and delivered on time and with the best possible presentation.
The Delivery Driver is responsible for vehicle maintenance and tidiness.
Primary Responsibilities Maintain the warehouse, cold storage and loading dock by keeping them organized and clean.
Ensure that packaged product is organized and rotated/picked for delivery according to the date it was packaged.
Perform bi-weekly inventory count on all in-house packaged products and report those numbers to the Manager.
Assist on packaging days by warehousing the packaged product.
Operate the keg washer to thoroughly clean kegs.
Assist in organization and cleanliness of the production brewery.
Deliver beer to clients, including but not limited to grocery stores, specialty shops, bars/restaurants.
All customer interactions are expected to be approached positively and with a true spirit of service.
Merchandise and rotate all products upon delivery and during service visits.
Assist other drivers and sales team in large/special deliveries including loading, unloading, and merchandising products as needed.
Servicing, merchandising, and taking orders at accounts, as needed.
Draft Equipment maintenance for tap room, accounts, and festivals.
Ensure product rotation when delivering orders and servicing accounts.
Responsible for posting invoices daily and accurately making written adjustments on invoices, as necessary.
Responsible for all payments.
Routing Deliveries for the next delivery day.
Responsible for adherence to vehicles maintenance schedule and requirements.
Responsible for maintaining vehicles appearance; clean and presentable always.
Adhere to requested appearance/dress code (neat and clean appearance with company/branded attire and proper safety gear).
Operate a forklift.
Adhere to all driving and safety/health procedure guidelines and regulations, including internal Standard Operating Procedures and best practices.
Adjust to the production and sales schedules as determined by the Managers and complete all other duties assigned.
Deliveries to Charlotte or Wilmington/Atlantic Beach once per week, according to demand.
Keg transfers from half barrel kegs to sixtel kegs, upon request.
Communicate any changes or adjustments to managers as necessary.
Comply with occupational health and safety standards.
Approach all customer and client relationships with a true spirit of service.
Follow all Company and Department SOPs.
All other duties assigned.
Requirements A valid and current driver’s license for your state of residency and an excellent driving history for the last seven years, driving record must be maintained while employed.
Ability to lift 55lbs to shoulder height.
Ability to lift 40lbs of product repetitively.
Ability to safely maneuver 50-60lb kegs.
Excellent organizational skills.
Positive attitude and team focus.
Occasional night/weekend availability is required.
High degree of integrity.
Available for a work schedule Monday-Friday eight (8) hours during normal operating hours.
Occasional night/weekend availability for deliveries and festivals is required.
Preferred Skills Alcoholic beverage industry.
Previously operated a forklift.
