Advanced Logistic Systems is a growing independent service provider for FedEx with openings for FULL-TIME Delivery Drivers to join our team in the Durham, NC area.
ALS is seeking dependable people who have a strong work ethic, are self-motivated, and enjoy the physically demanding experience of a package delivery driver.
Safety and customer service are our two main priorities, and we provide the training and technology to assist you in becoming a professional delivery driver focusing on safe, efficient, and productive daily route performance.
Responsibilities
Ability to lift/maneuver packages of up to 150 lbs.
(with dolly assistance)
Load and/unload packages into/out of van
Safely drive van from delivery station to designated customer locations according to route and schedule.
Inspect van and equipment and complete logs and reports.
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
Use hand-held device for routing information, customer delivery information, to communicate with dispatcher, and to track your time.
5-6 day work week
Requirements
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Possess a valid driver’s license with a CLEAN driving record
Proven commercial driving experience: ONE year within the past THREE years or FIVE years within the past TEN years (including Amazon, school bus, furniture, etc.
)
Ability to pass DOT physical, drug test, and background screening.
Dependable, organized, and possesses time-management skills.
Ability to prioritize safety and customer service while working alone in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
Compensation
$750-900 per week
