Driver

Responsibilities: - Safely operate a box truck, including manual transmission, to transport goods and materials to designated locations - Load and unload cargo from the truck using proper lifting techniques - Utilize forklift to assist with loading and unloading heavy items - Ensure that all goods are properly secured and protected during transit - Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the truck to ensure it is in good working condition - Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving - Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues that arise Skills: - Experience driving a box truck or similar commercial vehicle - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading - Proficiency in operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment - Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles - Knowledge of handling refrigerated trailers is a plus - Strong navigational skills and ability to follow directions efficiently - Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet delivery deadlines - Strong customer service skills to interact with clients in a professional manner Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
