Living Free Superstore in Haw River/Mebane, NC is looking for one Donations Pick-up Driver - box truck, to join our 20-person strong team.
We are located on 506 W Center Street.
Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and hard-working.
Responsibilities
No CDL or special license required, just a clean driving history!
*Plan each day to maximize number of pickups.
*Communicate with the Donors and Manager on pickups times and instructions.
*Assist in the pick-ups of donations.
*Load and Unload, sometimes heavy furniture, on/off the box truck and into the stores.
*Drive and maintain a Van style Box Truck.
*Assist in navigating daily routes to maximize efficiency.
*Inspect Box Truck daily for any maintenance issues and keeping it clean.
*Perform other duties as assigned by Store Management.
Qualification
*Ability to bend, reach and stand for extensive periods of time.
*Must be able to move heavy furniture.
*Must be able to lift 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
*Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
*Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, push and pull.
*Ability to use given resources to help move furniture on/off the box truck and into the stores with safety in mind for employees and protection of donations.
*Sufficient mobility to turn from side to side.
*Ability to listen and follow directions.
*Must be friendly to customers/staff and show a willingness to help.
*Must be at least 18 years old.
*Able to work 9-5 on M-F or Tue-Sat.
