Early Childhood Driver

*The van driver’s responsibilities are including but are not limited to:* \*Understanding the general driving regulations set forth by the state of NC \*Report any mechanical malfunctions of all transportation vehicles to the director.
\*Do a visual inspection of the vehicle daily and record findings.
\*Make sure that all children that are transported in the van are properly secured in a car seat, booster seat, or seat belt.
\*Transport children safely, and in a timely manner to and from home, school, and the daycare.
\*Sign each child in and out of the van each time they enter and exit.
When dropping off at home, school, field trips, or facility, make sure it is noted in the transportation log where the child got off of the van along with the time and signature of the driver · \*Take vehicles for routine maintenance when requested by the administration.
\*Ensure that all vehicles are fully gassed up at least once per week and as needed.
\*Any other related task is given by the director.
*Qualifications:* \*Must be punctual \*Have a current childcare qualification letter or the ability to complete one immediately \*Have a current TB skin test or the ability to complete one immediately \*High school diploma required \*Maintain a current NC license \*Maintaining a clean driving record.
\*Positive and patient demeanor \*Excellent driving skills.
\*Great verbal communication & organizational skills Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $10.
