School Bus Driver

Responsibilities: - Safely operate a bus or van to transport passengers to and from designated locations - Follow a planned route according to a predetermined schedule - Ensure the safety and well-being of passengers during transit - Maintain order and discipline among passengers, especially children - Provide excellent customer service to passengers - Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations - Keep the interior of the vehicle clean and presentable - Communicate effectively with passengers and staff Skills: - Excellent behavior management skills, especially when dealing with children - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Experience driving vans or buses, preferably in a school setting - Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication - Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently - Knowledge of childcare best practices is beneficial - Strong customer service skills Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
