Job Responsibilities:
Follow designated routes and ensure merchandise is delivered in a timely manner
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
Complete and submit all required paperwork, invoices, load sheets within appropriate time frames
Load and unload merchandise using a forklift when necessary
Report all vehicle-related issues urgently

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must have a valid and unrestricted Class A CDL License
A clean driving record required – DMV background check will be performed
Must have a current DOT Medical Card
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be Registered or able to register with the Clearing House
HazMat Certification preferred but not mandatory (will need to attain if hired)
Ability to comply with all DOT regulations (daily vehicle inspections, daily trip logbook, etc.
)
Capable of passing a background check and a drug screen
Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store team
Ability to operate motorized forklifts and other warehouse equipment in a safe manner
Ability to load/unload the delivery vehicle
Ability to work a flexible schedule and adapt to changes in schedule
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
on a continual basis – warehouse duties required as needed
Frequently able to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, kneel, stoop, overhead reach, lift, grip and carry to move product about the store or for customers.
Positive attitude and ability to work well with all personality types
Basic computer skills and math skills
High school diploma or comparable certification (GED)
Bilingual skills a plus, but not required (Spanish/English)
