*Job Description*:
We are seeking an eager and reliable Class A/B Driver to join our Raleigh team.
As a Local Class A Driver at Greasecycle, you will be responsible for driving a straight truck or tractor-trailer to collect used cooking oil from restaurants and *perform grease trap services*.
This role requires physical labor and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and ensuring proper vehicle maintenance.
The routes will have multiple stops and we operate in rain or shine :) This is a dirty and smelly job that is hard work but very rewarding.
This positions schedule is *Tues, Wed, Fri, and Sat.
9-10 hours 11pm-9:30am*.
The pay is $26-$27 an hour.
(Tuesdays work day will start on Monday at 11pm and end on Tuesday at 9:30am)
*Responsibilities*:
*-Operate a vacuum truck (must have tankers endorsements) on local routes within a 160-mile radius of Raleigh*
*-Pump out, clean, and unload grease traps from restaurants*
-Collect used cooking oil from various establishments
-Maintain cleanliness of the truck and schedule preventive maintenance with a mechanic
-Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies
-Lift up to 75 lbs, stoop, squat, kneel, and climb stairs consistently
-Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and a strong team player mindset
*Requirements*:
-Valid Class A license with a clean driving record and tanker endorsement
-Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time
-Ability to trouble shoot and solve problems with minimum supervision
-Excellent organizational and time management skills
-Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions
-Flexibility in working hours and schedule
-Must meet insurance policy requirements (no more than 2 speeding/moving violations in the last three years, no more than 1 wreck in the last 3 years, no DUI in the last 5 years)
