Drivers need for ice delivery (Raleigh)

Job Description 1.
Route Drivers (with the assistance of a helper) are required to deliver packaged ice bags manufactured by a local ice company throughout the set distribution area in the eastern and central areas of North Carolina.

The job involves manually unloading packaged ice in 7 and 16 pound bags from the delivery truck at each stop on the route.
3.
Our company is hiring for 26-foot box trucks that require the drivers to hold and maintain a valid NC Class C license.
We are also hiring for drivers to operate a 40-foot tractor-trailer with a lift gate that requires the drivers to hold and maintain a valid North Carolina Class A Commercial Driver’s License and Medical Certification.
Overnight travel is not required.
4.
Drivers are required to learn assigned areas and will be responsible for keeping the customer's ice boxes stocked.
Prompt and consistent deliveries are required.
5.
Drivers must be team players and be able to engage customers with a helpful, appreciative attitude, ensuring the highest level of customer service obtainable.
6.
Maintaining Logbooks will be required per the DOT.
7.
Drivers must have and maintain an acceptable MVR (Driver’s License Report).
MVRs will be checked annually, and a driver can be disqualified and/or terminated if our insurance company disqualifies you.
8.
Background checks and drug screening are required.
