*Position Overview:*
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable CDL Truck Driver to join our transportation team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting our products safely and efficiently to various locations throughout North Carolina.
This position offers a consistent schedule, with an average of 30-40 hours per week, primarily Monday through Thursday, and occasional Fridays.
*Home every night, our drivers are guaranteed payment for at least 40 hours per week (even if only 30 hours were needed).
* If working over 40 hours, overtime will be paid.
*Responsibilities:*
* Safely operate and maintain a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with all state and federal regulations.
* Transport BBQ products to designated locations within North Carolina, adhering to delivery schedules and routes.
* Ensure proper loading and unloading of cargo, verifying quantities and product integrity.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
* Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, mileage, and deliveries.
* Provide excellent customer service, interacting professionally with customers and ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and traffic laws.
*Requirements:*
* Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial truck driver.
* Knowledge of and adherence to DOT regulations and safety standards.
* Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and operate material handling equipment.
* Excellent communication skills and customer service-oriented attitude.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
* Flexibility to work occasional Fridays and adapt to changing schedules.
