Job Description We are seeking a self-motivated team player, who will share our vision of high standards for quality work, honesty, and integrity.
This position is based in Wilson, NC and will travel throughout the Carolinas and Virginia delivering our wastewater treatment systems located at residential and commercial sites.
The applicant should have a personal commitment to safe work practices.
Experience pulling a light duty trailer is preferred.
A safe driving record is required.
Basic computer skills are required.
This position requires the ability for unrestricted travel, sometimes working nonstandard schedules at field locations with exposure to varying environmental conditions.
This position may entails some overnight travel, but not regularly.
On days when deliveries are not occurring, the technician will be assisting our VP of manufacturing with light fabrication and construction duties.
Safe and regular use of hand tools and working around fiberglass and PVC is required.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION of ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Safely deliver wastewater treatment equipment.
Company vehicle provided.
Travel expenses paid by the company.
* Perform a variety of moderately complex, semi-technical manufacturing, fabrication, and construction duties.
* After the initial training period, must have the ability to work without direct supervision to accomplish tasks and effectively manage time to coordinate multiple jobs.
* Must be able to work in excess of 8 hours/day, on weekends, and non-standard schedules as needed.
Schedule is typically M-F, but hours can vary based upon delivery needs.
* Must work well with potential customers and be able to conduct oneself in a professional manner.
* Must care for company equipment and maintenance tools.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED Must have a clean driving record, current driver's license, insurance, and keep all in good standing.
Must have the ability to operate a company pickup truck, while towing a trailer.
Must have the ability for unrestricted travel.
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: -This position requires the ability to travel for long periods, while operating a truck/auto.
-This position requires an employee to be of good physical health with the ability to stand, squat, walk, climb up or down a ladder, use hands to handle and feel objects, operate tools and equipment, lift and move objects.
-This position requires an employee to work in hot, cold, and sometimes wet weather conditions.
-This position requires an employee to lift up to 80 pounds on a non-consistent basis.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Our Company is a drug-free company.
Candidate must successfully pass a company paid, baseline health physical and drug and alcohol screening.
Must have clean driving record.
PAY and BENEFITS: The starting salary for this position is $34,000-38,000 depending upon experience.
The starting salary may be lower for a high school graduate with no work experience or definable skills and may be higher with a seasoned certified operator.
Benefits include company 401 K match, profit sharing, a company vehicle provided after initial training period, company tools and phone, paid travel expenses and meals for overnight required work, health insurance, and 2 weeks paid vacation after 9 months.
