Preschool Teacher Assistant

Our work environment includes: * Safe work environment * Growth opportunities * On-the-job training Responsibilities: - Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool-aged children - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow - Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and educational activities - Monitor and assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment - Maintain a clean and organized classroom - Ensure the health and safety of all children in the classroom Requirements: - Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a preschool or daycare setting - Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices - Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies - Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain discipline - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with children with special needs or autism - Ability to adapt lessons and activities to meet the individual needs of each child - CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) - High school diploma or equivalent (associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred) Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
