Teacher Assistant

Duties & Responsibilities: In the RESET Teacher Assistant role, you will perform the following essential job functions: • Provide support and oversight in the classroom to ensure safety and quality learning for all students • Assist with lesson planning, materials prep and implementation of lessons to support student readiness • Oversee social emotional learning interaction, physical education opportunities, including outdoor activity and physical literacy skill building • Complete daily student report and summary weekly report on students • Review student files and ensure completion of all checklists • Scan completed file to be added to RESET student drive • Email daily student report and weekly summary report to parent and referring person • Schedule follow up visit to school within one week (Take token gift) • Schedule 30 day follow up parent phone call Qualifications & Requirements: To be a successful RESET teacher assistant, you will need to have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: • Strong computer skills w/ proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite applications • Relevant expertise and knowledge • Active and excellent listening skills • Eagerness to invest in others • Ability to provide corrective feedback Position Specifics: • Job Type: Part-time (6 hrs.
