I have seven show stock ewes and two livestock guardian dogs looking for a new home.
These girls were my 4-H sheep, but I have aged out now.
The dogs are super sweet, good with kids, and keep the coyotes out.
I'd love for them to all go together for $6000, and I'd cut the price for them to go to another 4-H family to produce show lambs.
Here's the breakdown:
Vanilla - Bit O Heaven ewe from 2019.
My first show sheep.
She placed 7th at the fair and has raised lambs twice.
Her lambs have been the thickest and biggest for me.
Yuki - Burch ewe I showed in 2020.
Heisman x reserve Georgia national ewe in 2018.
She placed first at the NC State fair and other circuit shows.
She has raised very pretty lambs twice.
Juniper - Burch ewe I showed in 2020.
Heisman daughter.
She was the reserve champion fallborn ewe at the NC State Fair.
She has raised nice, heavily muscled lambs twice.
Anne Shearly - Gorilla daughter from Simmons.
My spring sheep last year.
She placed first at my last show and sale.
I love this girl and have high expectations for whatever she produces.
I also have three yearling daughters from the older ewes sired by Nacho Business.
I was not able to show them, but they were nice enough not to go in the freezer with the other lambs.
The dogs are Pyrenees/Anatolian crosses I got in April of 2019.
They were raised with the sheep and lots of 4-H kids.
Clover and Fancy absolutely have to go together.
I just feel bad keeping them without their flock.
I'm happy to call and talk more about them, but I'm more likely to answer a text first!
I can possibly drive a reasonable distance to their new farm as well.
