Job Title: Governance Risk, and Compliance Manager
Position Location: Raleigh, NC.
This is a hybrid position.
Your impact: As Coastal's Governance, Risk, and Compliance Manager, you will have the opportunity to use your detail orientation and analytical talents to ensure the organization operates within legal and regulatory frameworks to include the Enterprise Risk framework and Business Continuity framework while minimizing risks.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to maintain compliance with industry standards, laws, and regulations.
You'll also have the opportunity to use your communication and management talents as you build rapport with internal/external customers and develop a highly engaged GRC team.
The contributions you can anticipate making: Leading team results and goals by: Ensuring the risk management framework is well documented, aligned with regulatory expectations and industry standards, and supports risk assessment activities across all risks of the organization through appropriate hierarchies.
Identifying opportunities for improved alignment with the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework within the first and second lines of defense and work with the business units to achieve them.
Supporting change control and continuously enhancing the enterprise risk hierarchies and lists and risk rating criteria (taxonomy, business unit, process, product, risk, and control library).

Maintaining comprehensive ERM, Business Continuity (BCP) and compliance framework documentation aligned with regulatory expectations and industry standards.
Managing and aiding in the execution of the ERM, BCP, and Compliance Plan for the department and applicable stakeholders.
This includes overseeing and providing assurance to the VP of Risk Management that both the ERM, BCP plan, and program objectives are being met.
Coordinating policy owners, ongoing reviews of, and policies, to ensure alignment with the ERM Framework.
Documenting and maintaining processes and procedures for ERM, compliance, and BCP in compliance with regulatory expectations and industry standards.
Developing team by: Identifying each of your team member's talents and helping them do more of their best work Holding meaningful weekly check-ins with each team member to build relationship, trust, and provide the opportunity for coaching, feedback, and recognition Conducting performance reviews on a regular basis Building a culture that embodies Coastal's values Cross-training to ensure optimal coverage Assisting with the optimization of staff and processes Ensuring your staff has the knowledge and tools needed to perform well Successfully recruiting additional staff as needed To be successful in this role, you will be: A person who enjoys the opportunity to compile and analyze data, see patterns, and use those findings to evaluate effectiveness, make sounds decisions, and develop innovative solutions.
