Here’s the Gist:
Lead Wafer Fab Process Engineering team to enable factory to meet business needs in Safety, Quality, Cost, and Cycle time.
Develop strategy, organization, and execution plans to achieve high process stability and quality at the lowest cost.
Collaborate across teams, product lines, and enabling functions to drive continual improvement in operations performance and quality.
Define talent development roadmap to enable organization to accomplish goals and milestones.
Key deliverables of the team:
The Day-to-Day:
Develop team and systems to identify root cause and solutions for process yield loss across all areas of fab processing
Partner with manufacturing and equipment teams to improve process stability and tool availability at lowest cost.
Develop and execute a roadmap to minimize the mean time to detect to achieve improved manufacturing quality.
Enable team to efficiently qualify new tools and processes that achieve product specific yield and performance.
Work across OnePack to improve new product introduction and enable high throughput entitlement for new products.
Drive to root cause with deep understanding and application of process physics and chemistry
Interact with the BU, Design, Quality and Reliability Groups to understand requirements, solve problems, improve, and satisfy the customer
Understand manufacturing and manufacturability to develop solutions that a feasible to implement at competitive cost
Demonstrate and advocate for the Wolfspeed culture across the factory and teams
Enable OnePack strategy of innovate once, implement everywhere
This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):
3+ years experience as a skilled leader leading and managing exempt-level teams
Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
The ability to teach, mentor, and develop engineering teams to be skilled problem solver using the scientific method and problem solving methodologies such as the DMAIC, 8D, 5 Why, 4C, FEMA, fish bone, etc.
Knowledge and skill in statistics and quality tools such as sample plans, DOE, TQC, TPM, SPC, Cpk, OCAPs, Lean, 5S, etc.
An understanding of the process flow, process integration, electrical requirements, and product requirements
