KidzArt is an educational art studio offering children ages 6-12 the opportunity to build upon their love of art through art classes, camps and workshops.
Our studio art instructors provide a safe and creative environment where children of all skill levels can experience the benefits of creative expression.
As a *studio art instructor *for KidzArt, you’ll use the methods and principles designed and taught by KidzArt to help students take their artistic skills to the next level.
Art Instructors will set up the studio space, demonstrate the project, and teach various artistic techniques while helping students reach their creative potential!
*Job Functions:*
* Teach and demonstrate techniques in drawing, painting, and design during camps, classes, and/or art parties.
* Run and manage the studio according to KidzArt methods and standards.
* Provide a nurturing environment that is fun, exciting, and educational.
* Encourage and help children expand their artistic skills.
*Requirements*:
* Availability to work Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm (part or full-time available)
* Experience working with children.
* Experience in art (professionally or self-taught) with portfolio examples.
* Experience and knowledge drawing and painting, including working with mediums such as; acrylic, watercolor, oil pastels, etc.
* Be able to relate to and teach children in grades K-6th.
* Outgoing, upbeat, and have a positive attitude!
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Must be able to pass a background check.
* Must have own transportation.
