Veterinary Assistant/Technician

Veterinary Technician Duties: - Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals - Perform routine procedures such as vaccinations, blood draws, and dental cleanings - Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians - Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures - Take and develop X-rays - Collect and analyze laboratory samples - Provide assistance with pet grooming and bathing - Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment Experience: - Previous experience working as a veterinary technician or in a related field is preferred - Knowledge of animal behavior, anatomy, and common medical conditions - Familiarity with dog training techniques is a plus - Proficiency in taking and developing X-rays If you are passionate about working with animals and have the necessary experience, we would love to hear from you.
