*Responsibilities of a Director of Nursing:*
* Responsible for providing the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to patients and residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing / sub-acute care nursing center (all units).
* Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the clinical department, ensuring quality care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and managing and controlling budget, and well as will provide leadership and oversight of the center’s clinical staff and will serve as the Nursing Home Administrator’s backup as needed.
*Qualifications for a Director of Nursing:*
* Associate degree in Nursing (ASN) or above required
* Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required.
* One (1+) years nursing leadership experience required.
* Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing / sub-acute care setting strongly preferred.
* Must be proficient in the use of a Personal Computer and possess ability to navigate Windows and Microsoft Office programs, Internet-based Applications, and EMR Software.

Sunnybrook Rehab, located at 25 Sunnybrook Rd, is a 95-bedskilled nursing center that offers in-patient residential care, short-term rehabilitation, and specialty services.
Our property features private and semi-private rooms, landscaped grounds, 7-day per week admissions, and rehabilitation gym with 7 day per week therapy, and we accept a wide variety of insurance plans.
