*JOB TITLE: Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS, LCAS-A)*
*DESCRIPTION:* The Clinician is responsible for providing individual, group and family therapy in accordance to identified services and supports in each service user’s person-centered plan.
These interventions are strength-based and focus on the promotion of recovery, symptom reduction and the achievement of the highest level of social functioning.
*GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:*
Provide service to SACOT and SAIOP Persons Served in accordance with acceptable protocols
Knowledge of addictions, recovery, mental health and other co-occurring disorders.
Supervise and provide leadership to include education and skills-related training for individual, family and group outpatient therapy sessions
Ensure adherence to federal and state law guidelines
Maintain all required and appropriate documentation for clinical records and progress notes for assigned cases in accordance with agency policies and procedures
Develop person-centered plans for Persons Served
Complete and update individualized Client treatment Plans for assigned cases in accordance with agency procedures
Coordinate/conduct drug screens and Breathalyzer test
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a collaborative relationship with staff
Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Experience working with an ethically, culturally, and racially diverse client population; also possess the ability to work harmoniously with a wide diversity of individuals
Oversee the discharge planning process
Complete and submit monthly reports
All other duties assigned by your supervisor
*JOB REQUIREMENTS:*
A Master’s degree/ licenses from an accredited university or college with a major in the field in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related human service field.
Potential employee must have two years professional experience providing services to adults, adolescents and / or children with serious mental illness and/ or children with serious mental illness and/ or substance abuse/ addiction.
