JOB SUMMARY: Administer medications, prescription and non-prescription and treatments, according to orders by a licensed prescribing practitioner which are maintained in the Resident’s record.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Ensure appropriate sanitary techniques are used during preparation and administration of medications.
Know the procedure for identifying Residents, before administering medications or treatments.
Gather the appropriate equipment for medication or treatment administration.
Offer sufficient fluids during administration of medication.
Appropriately utilize Medication Administration Record (MAR) during preparation and administration of medication: Appropriate documentation of medication or treatment administration.
Assist CNA's with resident ADLs as needed.
Pay rate dependent on experience and ability.
REQUIREMENTS Must be PASSIONATE about Senior care.
Able to work weekends as part of their employment.
Schedule 4 days on; 2 days off.
Training and Certification is provided if needed.
