Position Summary:
Responsible for providing Metrology support and services to KBI’s internal operations at a 24/7 KBI Biopharma manufacturing site.
Serves as primary source of calibration services for all customer requirements including planned and unplanned calibration activities.
Position Responsibilities:
Inspect, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment and instrumentation in the facility, which include Manufacturing, Analytical Labs, Utilities, and
Warehouse and document these activities in the Blue Mountain CMMS
Prepare and maintain equipment and instrumentation documentation related to Metrology related activities.
Review assigned tasks for completeness and accuracy and report corrections required to Supervisor or Planner.
Position Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3-5 years of instrumentation and field calibration experience; preferably in a GxP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Strong instrumentation and field calibration experience.
Strong understanding of industrial instrumentation and measurement principals, as well as process controls in a GxP environment.
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, loop diagrams, and P&IDs.
Good troubleshooting skills; ability to analyze and diagnose instrument failures.
Ability to specify new or replacement instrumentation to support new engineering projects or for existing processes.
GMP and good documentation practices knowledge.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong CMMS knowledge, Blue Mountain preferred.
Salary Range: $65K - $88K
Salary range provided per current averages and expectations.
The salary and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
