Job Description
This position will provide hands-on support to the lab’s process development, process monitoring, and manufacturing support work.
Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to;
Train on and then independently execute flow cytometry sample preparation and assay development experiments
Prepare various media solutions for upstream or downstream laboratory experiments
Train on and then independently execute additional analytical testing for lab studies, including :
Moisture testing
Metabolic analyzers (e.
g.
BioProfile)
UV/Vis spectroscopy
UPLC
Dynamic Light Scattering
Document lab work in a data integrity and GDP-compliant manner in an electronic laboratory notebook and/or paper protocols
Complete second scientist reviews in laboratory notebooks and technical documents
Adhere to a safe working culture: participate in lab safety walk-throughs, and follow all site- and lab-safety procedures including biosafety requirements, cross-contamination procedures, PPE, etc.
Strong pipetting techniques required
Qualifications
BS degree, or degree in a related field
Previous experience with analytical techniques including:
Moisture testing
Metabolic analyzers (e.
g.
BioProfile)
UV/Vis spectroscopy
UPLC
Dynamic Light Scattering
Strong pipetting skills required
Strong collaboration skills
Attention to detail both in executing procedural steps and in all documentation.
Must be comfortable with aspects of both routine-testing as well as flexible-support based on project needs (occasional off-shift scheduling may be needed).
