Senior Cyber Security Engineer

The Senior Cyber Security Engineer candidate will be a self-starter who is willing to take initiative.
This position requires working with security, architecture, operational, and DevOps teams on the evaluation, design, and implementation of security technologies.
This position requires someone who has multifaceted skill sets and can work with teams across the organization to propose and implement security technologies.
This person will need to be able to provide clear written/verbal communications to management, security, and operational teams regarding proposed security designs.
The Senior Cyber Security Engineer will be a primary contributor in the architecture, design, implementation, and support of the security design for a global security infrastructure.
Senior cyber security engineer responsibilities: Evaluate, design, plan and implement aspects of a global security platform to include data center and cloud systems Participate in multi-discipline design and architecture teams to provide solutions Create and present reporting information; updating process documents and other duties as required This position requires a broad range of familiarity with principles, theories, concepts, and technologies as well as applied knowledge of established procedures, policies, and practices Assess the effectiveness of existing security controls and provide recommendations.
Develops report of recommendations for customer remediation to fill identified gaps in security Recommends operationally feasible and cost-effective solutions to reduce risk, as appropriate Support and configure a CSPM platform by configuring alerts and reporting Lead implementation projects for security technologies to include operational documentation and handoff.
Evaluate AWS and Azure cloud configurations from a security perspective and present recommendations for remediation.
Requirements: Senior Cyber Security Engineer Qualifications: 7+ years Information Security compliance, security engineering or architecture experience.
Experience with security configurations in AWS and Azure Knowledge of relevant CIS security controls for cloud and data center Experience with network security and firewall technologies Knowledge of security architecture design principles in a global organization Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment Experience leading a technology implementation project Preferred SASE experience (ie.
Zscaler) Preferred experience with DevOps automation tools (ie.
Ansible, Jenkins, and Terraform) is a plus Preferred Palo Alto Prisma Cloud experience Preferred SIEM experience #LI-Remote #LI-JB2 Hiring Range : $106,400.
00 USD - $133,000.
00 USD annually Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
