00/hour Our Position The Nurse Practitioner position is responsible for coordinating and providing medical/clinical services including engagement, assessment, differential diagnosis, recovery service planning, medication management, education, and risk assessment and discharge planning.
The Nurse Practitioner position also uses Recovery Coaching to maximize the opportunity to create recovery partnerships and a recovery environment.

Provides appropriate treatment and referral according to individual's needs.
Ensures completion of designated reviews for all new individuals brought to the facility, making appropriate dispositions in accordance with policy.
Prescribes and administers medication.
Supervises special diet requirements.
Initiates and/or ensures appropriate response to all medical emergencies.
Communicates complaints and incidents to supervisory personnel.
Completes clinical documentation as required.
Understands and adheres to RI International compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all RI International policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
Performs other related duties assigned.

Experience working in an acute psychiatric setting and training and experience in addiction preferred.
Knowledge of psychiatric medications and their indications, common side effects, reactions and interactions of medications prescribed.
Ability to conduct assessments and treatment plans.
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
Effective listening skills.
Excellent documentation skills.
Trauma Informed Care experience preferred.
Bilingual preferred.
Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Detailed oriented, reliable, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism.
Must have a valid driver license and be 18 years of age.
Must have the ability to walk, climb, stoop, reach, crawl, crouch, kneel, push, pull and lift a minimum of 20lbs.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication, with particular emphasis during telephone calls, follow-ups, and in-person correspondence.
