Seeking mental health professional to contribute to our program providing evaluation and treatment of people with sexual behavior problems, including individuals who have committed sexual offenses.
We are a small, well-established practice in Durham, North Carolina.
We have been providing evaluation and treatment services for eighteen years, with good connections with probation/parole offices, Departments of Social Services, and attorneys.
The core duties for this position are individual and group psychotherapy with adults who have committed sexual offenses.
However, this position also provides an excellent opportunity to build a practice focused on other services of the professional’s choosing.
Position will be part-time at first but can grow to full-time as caseload increases.
Our practice provides administrative support, including billing and insurance claim submission.
We participate on most insurance panels.
The professional must be independently licensed in North Carolina, although all mental health disciplines will be considered.
Ideally, the professional will have prior experience working with individuals who have committed sexual offenses.
However, those with experience in related fields, such as addictions, criminal-involved, and sexology will also be considered.
Training can be provided.
This position is a contract position, with compensation computed as a percentage of fees received for services.
The professional must have their own professional liability insurance.
