Bought this back in the early 2000s when my band switched to B tuning.
It’s an excellent 7-string option if you’re not looking to spend a fortune.
Washburn only made this guitar from 1999 – 2002.
The specs are as follows:
• 3pc to 4pc Alder/basswood body
• 24 fret bolt-on maple neck with rosewood fretboard.
• All black hardware: Grover tuners and stop tail Tune-O-Matic bridge.
• 3-way pickup selector.
• 2 Washburn 7-string K-10 humbuckers
• Gray metallic finish
Condition: The nut needs to be replaced as the B-string at some point cracked it.
You should be able to get one for $10 - $20.
It’s playable, but it doesn’t take much to push the B out of the nut.
There are also a few small scratches here and there, but nothing significant.
A change of pickups and some soldering to shore up the input jack and I think this thing would scream again.
I’m including a Fender gig bag.
It is originally for the bass, but this guitar is typically a bit too long for standard gig bags.
I’m also providing a brand new set of DR 7-string strings.
