Durham immigration firm seeks an experienced bilingual paralegal with a minimum of 1 year of immigration paralegal experience.
The duties include assisting with immigration court cases as well as nonimmigrant and immigrant cases.
Qualified candidates must have a commitment to hard work, attention to detail, excellent writing, excellent communication, and organization.

Responsibilities include:
*Assist attorneys in the preparation, filing and tracking of various immigration applications and petitions.

Update case management database as tasks are processed.
*Prepare correspondence, meet with clients to prepare statements/affidavits, complete applications, obtain and review supporting documents, monitor deadlines and priority dates.

Conduct regular case review with attorney.
*Perform record searches using online resources.
*
Handle existing client calls and respond to general inquiries.
*Copy, file and organize confidential files and documents.

Prepare, receive and send packages for delivery by U.
S.
mail or FedEx.
*Schedule client meetings.
