Duties:
- Provide consultations with potential clients
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information.
- Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Organize and maintain case files and documents.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Schedule appointments, hearings, and depositions.
- Attend immigration court hearings.
- File applications, RFE's, etc.
with USCIS.
Qualifications:
- Authorized to practice law in NC or other recognized jurisdiction.
- 3 years or more of experience in immigration law.
- Experience in Removal Defense and USCIS filings.
- Strong knowledge of immigration procedures and legal terminology.
- Proficient in legal research tools and software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with court filing procedures and deadlines.
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
