Teaching Legal Writing Opportunity – Part-time Adjunct Position
Duke Law School seeks candidates for a part-time position teaching legal writing in the LLM program for international students.
Duke Law is a leading institution of legal scholarship and education, delivering legal education that combines academic rigor with creativity and innovation.
Duke’s LLM legal writing program consists of a fall-semester course in US Legal Analysis, Research, and Writing for International Students.
The LLM writing faculty consists of three to four faculty members, who collaborate on designing and implementing the LLM course.
Research skills are taught by a co-teacher research librarian, and the research and writing portions of the course are integrated.
At least three years of experience are strongly preferred, and preference will be given to applicants with experience teaching legal writing.
The ability to speak another language or experience living or studying in another country is also preferred.
