PINAM Construction is an unlimited licensed General Contractor that provides Commercial Construction and Project Management services to local, State, and Federal governments, to private institutions and to the Multi-Family Residential industry.
We also provide Residential Crawlspace, Foundation and Structural Repair in the State of North Carolina.
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Corporate Construction Attorney with litigation experience to join our legal team.
In this role, you will play a vital role in providing legal counsel and representation to our organization on a wide range of construction-related matters, with a particular focus on litigation.
*RESPONSIBILITIES*
● Provide legal guidance, advice, and representation on construction-related issues, including contract negotiations, claims management, dispute resolution, and litigation.
● Conduct legal research and analysis to support the development of legal strategies and positions in construction disputes.
● Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, pleadings, motions, and court filings.
● Represent the organization in legal proceedings, including mediations, arbitrations, and trials related to construction disputes.
● Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and business development teams, to mitigate legal risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
● Advise on matters related to construction contract administration, project management, insurance, and bonding.

*REQUIREMENTS*
●Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
● Active license to practice law in the jurisdiction where the position is located.
● Minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on construction law and litigation.
● Strong knowledge of construction law, contract law, and relevant statutes and regulations.
● Proven experience in handling construction litigation, including dispute resolution, arbitration, and trial.
●Willingness to stay current on legal developments through continuing education and professional development activities.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.
87 - $64.
90 per hour
