Site Name: Durham Blackwell Street, Philadelphia Walnut Street Posted Date: Feb 8 2024 This position will be responsible for specializing in Innovation and AI Strategies to support the US compliance program through the use of AI-driven initiatives.
You will work with the business to identify opportunities to leverage AI and other innovative technologies to support compliance related learnings and to enhance, streamline and simplify internal compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities: Innovation Project Identification: Proactively identify opportunities for innovative projects within the compliance function.
Conduct thorough assessments of current compliance processes to identify areas for improvement.
Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans for innovative initiatives, ensuring alignment with DOJ's seven elements of the compliance program.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute projects on time and within budget.
Technology Integration: Explore and recommend technology solutions that can enhance compliance processes and streamline activities.
Collaborate with IT and other relevant departments to implement technological innovations in compliance procedures.
Training and Communication: Develop training programs to ensure the seamless integration of innovative solutions into existing compliance processes.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to create awareness and understanding of implemented changes.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments related to compliance initiatives and propose strategies to mitigate potential risks.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented innovations in addressing compliance risks.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of innovative projects, including objectives, methodologies, and outcomes.
Generate regular reports for management, summarizing the impact and success of implemented innovations.
Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory changes related to compliance.
Enthusiastically curious in seeking opportunities for further improvement and optimization within the compliance program.
Why You? Basic Qualifications We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Business, Computer Science, or a related field like Artificial Intelligence, Data Structures and Algorithms.
6+ years of experience working in any combination of tech, consulting, enterprise risk management or other related service.
Experience in AI technologies, including machine learning and relevant frameworks, tools, and platforms.
Preferred Qualifications.
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: 4 years of pharmaceutical/medical device experience (Compliance, Audit, Legal or Internal Controls role preferred) Confidence and poise to work directly with senior business partners and matrixed internal teams Proven ability to work independently and drive projects to completion Extensive knowledge and insight into industry issues and regulations global markets and underlying reasons for current conditions.
Several years of demonstrated leadership and influence High degree of organizational awareness; demonstrated ability to develop solutions to complex problems Maintain a high degree of credibility, independence, integrity, confidentiality and trust.
Strong writing skills required to write and edit policies and procedures, issue memoranda and compile program report Detail-oriented with strong project management, organization, prioritization and time management skill Strong communication, planning and project management skills Proven ability to drive process improvement in a matrix environment and with demonstrated leadership in the application of innovative approaches with portfolio-level impact.
