Our esteemed law firm, an established player in the legal industry, seeks a dedicated Litigation Paralegal to contribute to our dynamic team.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for executing various substantive legal tasks under the guidance of our Litigation practice group attorneys.
Key responsibilities encompass the meticulous organization and management of document-intensive files throughout the case's lifecycle, conducting factual investigations and interviews to identify pertinent parties and documents, and overseeing the review of E-discovery for production.
Additionally, the selected individual will play a crucial role in the preparation of responses to discovery requests, coordination of depositions, and summarization of depositions, records, and medical testimony using litigation support technology tools.
Drafting pleadings and filings in both Federal and State-level civil litigation matters, as well as assisting in trial preparations, including the identification and marking of exhibits, are integral aspects of this role.
The candidate is expected to liaise with government and court officials, as well as clients, and maintain attorney calendars with case deadlines.
A high level of computer literacy, proficiency in MS Office Suite, and familiarity with document management systems are prerequisites.
A minimum of two years of litigation experience, coupled with the ability to manage complex litigation using contemporary technology, is mandatory.
While not obligatory, prior experience with product liability and medical malpractice cases would be advantageous.
The successful candidate must exhibit excellent time management, organizational abilities, and strong proofreading skills.
Moreover, the ability to work independently, demonstrate motivation and initiative, and meet firm billing requirements are essential performance measures for this role.
