CAPITAL is seeking detail-oriented, diligent individuals for our Automotive Title Clerk position.
Primary duties include processing and managing title documents for vehicles, ensuring accurate and timely completion of paperwork, and maintaining compliance with legal requirements while working closely with other departments, such as sales, finance, and administration, to coordinate title-related activities and ensure a smooth workflow.

Automotive Title Clerk Responsibilities:
Process titles for customer purchases while ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Process out of state title work
Processing refunds and write offs
Contacting lien holders for title disputes
Issue tags and registrations via NCDMV
Maintain accurate and up to date spreadsheets
Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all title transactions, including filing and archiving documents as needed
Enter relevant information into databases and systems, maintaining accurate records of title transactions.
Other duties assigned
Automotive Title Clerk Requirements:
Proficiency using Microsoft Excel
Experience working at a dealership preferred
Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Must pass pre-employment background screenings
