Milberg seeks a highly motivated, hard-working, and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Raleigh, NC.
Milberg is a national and international Plaintiff's law firm practicing in many areas including Class Action, Consumer Class Action, Catastrophic Single Event, Environmental and others.
Milberg continues to grow with a diverse, hardworking, and nationally recognized staff.
The ideal candidate shall have at least three (3) years' litigation experience, good verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, organized, dependable, follows instructions, responds to management direction, can work unexpected or long hours when necessary, takes initiative, and maintains confidentiality.
This position will involve working with lawyers handling primarily complex matters.
*Work Location*
This position will be located in Raleigh, NC.
*Essential Functions*
* Preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, complaints, summons, subpoenas, and other discovery requests, including gathering information and documents from clients;
* Filing motions and briefs in federal courts using ECF;
* Reviewing, organizing and analyzing documents produced during discovery and maintaining/managing same;
* Ensuring proper indexing and filing of pleadings and case documents;
* Serving as liaison between clients, opposing counsel and witnesses;
* Utilizing calendar/docket system to ensure all deadlines are timely met and manage case.

* Ability to analyze and follow local rules for Federal Court filings
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office

*Minimum Requirements*
* Associates Degree; Bachelor's Degree preferred
* 3+ years Paralegal experience
* Certified Paralegal
* Experience in complex and/or commercial litigation
* Excellent research and writing skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and organizational skills
* Conveys confidence with clients and in court
* Able to complete tasks efficiently and manage time across multiple projects

*Anticipated Work Hours*
This position is a full-time position expected to work 40 hours per work week with the occasional opportunity for Overtime.
The general working hours are from 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST but may vary.

Starting salary range between $50,000 - $60,000 annually depending on qualifications and experience
