Our Legal Assistant will interact and build relationships with our estate planning clients in person and over the telephone, while supporting our team by assisting with drafting estate planning documents, keeping accurate case project management, providing consistent communication with clients regarding their matters, and preparing estate planning documents for signing appointments.
This position requires a combination of attention to detail, strong work ethic, high-level client service mentality, teamwork, time management, managing deadlines, active listening, attention to instructions, and resourcefulness.
The Legal Assistant position is full-time and we offer a competitive benefits package that exceeds the industry standard.
While there is remote flexibility, the ability to work from the Cary office 3-4 days per week is required.

Compensation:
$35,000 - $50,000
Responsibilities:
You should be comfortable with a computer and have excellent spelling and grammar.
We all make mistakes, but a penchant for accuracy and attention to detail are required.
You will be working on many cases concurrently and we expect you to keep track of key dates, keep the right people informed, and prioritize your time so that we never miss a deadline.
You should treat a client, matter, or task at 4:30 pm on Friday with the same care and attention to detail as one on Monday morning at 9 am.
The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset, show incredible attention to detail, have an ability to relate with people who have a lot of questions, and a good sense of humor.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have excellent communication skills and organizational skills
Able to meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficient with MS Office products
At least 1 year of experience working in a law firm setting in the State of North Carolina
Ability to work in the Cary office 3-4 days per week.
